Guest Artist - Michael Jacobs
Our first guest artist of the year is also one of the very best! Michael Jacobs will be joining us April 5th and 6th! Michael is a designer, maker, and instructor who has worked in mixed-media and sculpture for over thirty years. In 1990, he designed and fabricated the Kodak Goodwill Games World's Largest Photo Album (228 pounds, 7,500 photos), and he has been creating sculptural books ever since. He teaches workshops throughout the United States and is the author of three North Light books – Creative Correspondence, Cards That Pop-up, Flip & Slide and Books Unbound. His first DVD, titled Paper Transformations, will be released very soon, and we'll have it as soon as it is available.
