Tyvek Travel Journal with Pockets

In this class, you'll make a gorgeous journal with a variety of pages including text pages either with or without lines, envelope pages and pocket pages to hold your photos or other keepsakes. This book is approximately 6" x 8" and accommodate 4" x 6" photos. Students will learn to sew on tapes and we'll decorate our covers with the fabulous line of Claudine Hellmuth acrylic paints, rubber stamps and ink. Fun! Students should bring: Scissors, ruler, craft knife with a new, sharp blade, bone folder, awl, pencil, at least 4 paintbrushes which will be used for the acrylic paints, double sided adhesive, dye ink pads in a few colors, watermark pad (such as Versamark), non-stick craft sheet (if you have one) and favorite rubber stamps. Students may also want to bring a smock.
