Join Cherryl Moote for a paper adventure! In this class we will take several famous quilt block designs and work with them to create paper quilt features that make great cards and scrapbook decorations. These blocks can be embellished with charms, grommets, stitching, beads, antique buttons and ribbons to make them into one-of-a-kind additions to your artwork. Students should bring: double-sided adhesive sheets, a self-healing cutting mat (at least a 9 x 12 but 12 x 18 is ideal), sharp x-acto knife and extra blades, scissors (regular and detail), metal 12" ruler with cork back and/or Omnigrid© Quilter’s Ruler (6” x 12” size highly recommended), pencil which keeps a fine point, pencil sharpener and white eraser, bone folder and bookbinding awl.
