Fun Folds: Stationary Box Gift Set
Date: Thursday, June 29
Time: 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Donna is back with another of her popular "fun folds" projects. In this class, you will create a little "fun fold" stationary box set made by scoring/folding a 12 x 12 heavyweight sheet of cardstock into an easy box/desk top unit, then create a cute ribbon-festooned lid to hold the unit closed. The finished box will hold a half dozen standard A2 cards and envelopes. (Your kit will come with supplies to make three A2 cards, envelopes included!) The wee front pockets hold gift tags and notecards (your kit will come with three of each to tuck into your pockets!), and on the front "desk" flap you'll add a wee note pad, stamp pocket, and pen holder. (You even get the pen!) You'll decorate the box, lid, desk top, (and cards, if time permits) in class. This project also comes with a full Cutting & Scoring Guide so you can recreate this cute stationary box & desk set again and again, using any paper collection you like. Great gift idea! Open to all skill levels. Come join the fun! NOTE: Please email Donna at firstname.lastname@example.org after registering to receive supply list updates and the class photo/instruction file. NOTE: The Wee Things classes are separate and unique projects. No series commitment required. Each class is open to all who wish to register. Students should bring: 12" paper trimmer, 12" score board, bone folder, scissors, 1/4" and 3/8" scor-tape, regular paper adhesive (ATG, tape runner, glue stick, etc), corner rounder, and Colorbox Chestnut Roan chalk in if you like to edge your papers. Please contact Donna at the email above for a full, final supply list.
