Whether you've tried the Caterpillar stitch or not, you definitely don't want to miss this one. We'll be making this caterpillar a little wild and crazy! Students will have the option to add beads and other embellishments. This is a super fun stitch and quite gorgeous when complete. This book is very decorative and will make a wonderful gift or addition to your collection of handmade books. Some previous bookbinding experience may be helpful when taking this class. Students should bring: Ruler, heavy duty awl, craft knife with a sharp blade, hole punching device like a Japanese screw punch or crop-a-dile, scissors, double sided adhesive and bone folder. All of these items may be purchased at Angela's. In addition, please bring a mouse pad to this class. Don't worry, it will not be ruined. Optional: Hole punching cradle (also sold at the store! Once you try it, you'll love it!)
